March 23, 2014 - Drank a few years ago and woah has it improved. Big oak that wasn't there in 2011. Needed air. Decanted. Spice. Red fruit. Might have mistaken this for a PS if tasted blind. Wish I had more bottles.

March 17, 2008 - Very light syrah, ripe cherries and not very complexe, just one dimensional. Nothing exciting but is drinkable for everyday.
Paid $ 8.50 per bottle and that is about right. Would not buy again.

February 11, 2008 - 1 Hour glass decant - large syrah glass. I get a strong, sour-sweet nose of red cherry, fake strawberry, sage, and an after-hint of menthol. This wine is a bit funky, though it's mellowing out the more air time I give it. For a low 13% wine, it's fairly hot (read vinegary). The mouthfeel is very light and not too complex. Taste is quite sour; again, 1-dimensional with primary sour-plum flavors. There's a 20-30s medium long sour, salty finish. Given the decant time, this wine shows much better for its bouquet than for what it provides on the palate or tongue. Overall, a mediocre wine - wouldn't recommend for over $7.

2/12/2008: Vaccum capped and drank the next evening. Wine had turned for the worse. Lowering score by 1 point.

August 11, 2007 - Everyone loved this. We served it with grilled jerk chicken, and the pepper in the wine complemented the chicken perfectly. Lots of berry fruit and nice finish.
