October 11, 2015 - Pas de notes car bue il y a déjà quelques temps
Joli Bordeaux à maturité. Robe évoluée, tanins fondus.pas de maigreur ou de creux. Le millésime ne se signale que par une complexité moindre ...

May 14, 2013 - Textbook St. Julien. Rather musty, barnyardy nose with cassis, and earth - just exactly the way I like bordeaux. Terrific balance with a smooth, silky, elegant mouthfeel and excellent balance. Nice complexity with the fruit just beginning to fade but being replaced by notes of leather and tobacco. A really enjoyable , smooth, balanced wine that reflects its heritage. I love older bordeaux wines and this was right in my sweet spot. I 'm sure the 1993 Leoville Las Cases has more power and depth, but I really loved this wine for its character and complexity.

December 31, 2012 - Delicious, but not up to the 92 Corison which was spectacular. Beat out the 93 Jordan which was fading a bit.

August 19, 2012 - Decanted for one hour. Rather green and peppery nose with a bit of cocoa and sweet cedar. On the palate clean with a nice a bit unripe cabernet fruit, medium body and a refreshing aftertaste of red berries and a bit of tobacco, good length with floury tannins. Good again, but this is heavily overpriced atm.
