May 13, 2023 - Really nice surprise. Forest floor, violet, red fruit, blue fruit, baking spices, cured meat on the nose. When drinking, cherries, savory notes, pepper, with a medium plus finish. Mouth filling and very good.

December 15, 2022 - A wonderful California “cool climate” Syrah, reminiscent of the HdV Californio Syrah, Hyde Vineyard. Highly aromatic, flavorful, and complex: purple florals; bacon fat and grilled meat; red and blue fruits; black olive; red licorice; sandalwood spice; green herbs; and black mulchy earth. Developing. Seamlessly integrated with a rich, luxurious, and balanced mouthfeel. Structure complements and enhances the fruits setting up a long satisfying finish. Paired well with the smoked, pulled pork tacos and ranch beans. Drink now and through 2030.

Kerosene Does not like this wine: 89 points
August 13, 2022 - This is a nicely constructed American Syrah, but the taste profile (grassy and herbacious) just doesn't fit my taste. Of course, that didn't keep me from drinking it, but it just isn't the kind of wine that I would buy again.

June 19, 2022 - Delicious on pop n pour. Part of a "mystery case" but I would buy more if given the opportunity. Served with grilled kofta.
