Oog: Helder, intens, rode bes, kleine doorzichtigheid, gevulde meniscus, grote viscositeit, veel gekleurde tranen.
Neus: Zuiver en diep, aroma's van rode bes, pruim, braambes, vlierbes, confituur, eucalyptus, tabak, zachte houttoets, chocolade, rokerig, (peper, tijm laurier) vanille.
Mond: Krachtig met veel rood en zwart fruit, (M+1,Z+1,T+1) en lange afdronk van 6 sec. Hemelse wijn.
