October 5, 2023 - Medium bright red garnet in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & cranberries with overtones of floral notes of roses & earthy/dusty notes, minerals, some spice notes, a hint of anise & herbs & a hint of cedar. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe red fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries & cranberries with herbs, minerals & spices. Lingering finish. Drinks well at present with decanting & extended airing but should develop further with additional aging at which time it may rate a higher score.
