February 26, 2024 - One of the most wonderful wines I ever tasted from Portugal🍷👏
An amazing dark bright mostly cloudy purple color. A breathtaking👏
Medium to full body. Medium acidity. Noticeable tanines but still feels smooth. Lovely structure👏
Lovely aromatic, barrels, spices, terroir, red & black fruits👏
Rich, complex, intensive & powerful wine, but in an harmonic & balanced manner. Coffee, chocolate, coconut, plum, blackberries, pomegranate, strawberries, pepper, licorice, ginger, stone, leather 👏

October 22, 2021 - Blackcurrant and pencil shavings on a slightly reserved nose. A medium weight body of black fruit with good structure and silky tannins. Savory finish. A serious effort to make a Bordeaux-like wine.

September 22, 2021 - On immediate opening perhaps a little mean on the tannins and savoury profile, but after a good few hours of being open it reveals a gorgeous juicy depth of brambly fruit, savoury notes and a fairly intense liquorice note too. Nice now, decanting recommended, and with age for sure to allow some of that oak to integrate more. Delicious.
