May 30, 2022 - Fun wine, a little bit flat and two dimensional, but a nice table wine that isn't overpowering. Can taste cedar, raspberry, sour cherry with some dark fruit. Light bodied with some length and complexity

February 27, 2022 - Really needed some hours of air, better on day 2. A little uneven all around, but ended up ok.

September 27, 2020 - Musar always great! Love it

September 3, 2019 - At its best, super elegant and refined with nice length and femininity. A little bit inconsistent with each taste with some sips average. Flavor complexity is medium, sometimes a little too sweet and uneven

October 8, 2018 - MNB: Reds with RS (Home (Noe st)): (non-blind - my wine)
Medium ruby color. Ok now we've got a real wine! Medium intensity aromatics of dusty cherry, slight roasted olive (cab?), slight menthol/amaro/herbal notes. Slight VA / balsamic lift. Slight bruised apple oxidation, slight ripe pomegranate. Hint of herbal menthol, as well as some slightly confected - sweet cherry. It's a nice nose - kissed by sun but also herbal and fresh.

On the palate, dry, medium plus body, slight heat - 14% alcohol, elevated acid, medium plus tannins - a bit scratchy and green/coarse still. Some slight savory oxidative development but still quite primary. This is really like Musar light. Related in style, but not as floral, or bretty, or oxidative - and not as much fruit complexity or palate integration. At the $30 price point... well it's not a steal, but not terrible either.

Blend: 50% Cinsault, 35% Grenache, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon
