  July 25, 2020 - Tar on the nose is not unpleasant. Nice structure with a good acid/tannin balance. Rustic and enjoyable. Nice summer red.

  July 8, 2020 - Purchased for $8. Not for me but for my wife who remembers this wine from her childhood days. Translucent ruby with some pinkish hues. Red fruits, spice, rubber/tar, and a purfume edge. Similar notes on the palate, but slightly acidic and tannic. Good QPR on this one, but there are some others which are more enjoyable at a similar price point. Grade: B

  April 4, 2020 - This was a delicious surprise - from Wine Society producers case. Fruity, spicy with some complexity - just short of being jammy. Really good VFM

  June 27, 2019 - Quite good QPR. Good structure with a nice line of tannin. Dark roasted cherry and vanilla favors. Flirts with over-extraction. Straightforward but good and enjoyable.
