June 24, 2020 - I love Merlot and Karen's is a favorite. Sipping with some crackers and hummus is like the comfort of visiting an old friend.

February 24, 2020 - That's a nice Merlot, very drinkable. Had it with a rare filet mignon and a mushroom ragout. Paired very well.

December 27, 2019 - Still very young, but this is a nice Merlot. It is dark, fragrant, and packed with dark fruit. Lots of blackberry on both the nose and the palate. Fairly soft, but not at all jammy. Long finish. Very easy drinking. To me, this tastes like what Merlot should taste like.

August 14, 2019 - Extremely clean, fresh blackberryish nose is very soft. Very fruit forward, but enough tannin underneath to hold and hopefully improve for a few years. Pretty long but rather crude fruity aftertaste. Slightly hollow and a trifle deficient in acidity. Better slightly cool.
