April 8, 2023 - Decanted only for 30 minutes because restaurant couldn't get the cork out cleanly. Nose of drying wet soil, medicinal, red/black fruit .
Palate had sour acidic red fruit. Some sort of Brazilian sausage brought out black pepper notes. Lots of life left. -

August 3, 2022 - Still drinking really well. Tannin mostly gone, but interestingly dominated by ripe fruit notes. Some leather and cedar, and high acidity that makes it great with food.

Quite bright on the palate, but with enough body and depth to stand up to all the acid. Long, tart, bright finish with a touch of oak tannin. Just terrific, but really needs food to show best.

November 18, 2017 - Clear dark plum/cranberry in color; pine needles, crushed sour plum and forest berries on nose: not overly complex with relatively light mouth feel, but still lots of life with tannins very much in play.
