March 14, 2024 - Pale; broad & expansive bouquet; on the rich side of the spectrum; lots on the finish. Will hold but no upside.
June 19, 2023 - Andrew recommended this, bought in DC, light yellow. Very pleasant well balanced Chardonnay, no noticeable oak, nice presence of apple and citrus fruit with a clean and tart finish
October 24, 2022 - Pale; wet sandstone on nose; steely, citrussy cut, yet has an underlying richness. Not overtly Aligoté. Tonight not firing on all cylinders.
June 15, 2022 - Un Aligoté de course !
Nez typiquement PYCM avec sa touche soufré, allumette, la bouche est vive, pleine d'acidité qui nous fait saliver, un peu de coing, miel, citron, c'est tout en fraicheur et magnifiquement long pour un Aligoté.
Parfait pour l'apéro et définitivement mon Aligoté #1 jusqu'a présent.
April 22, 2022 - Pas de notes mais un Aligoté frais, agréable et fort bien fait, très légèrement souffré à l’ouverture.
February 5, 2022 - With air: struck match. Iodine, saline notes. Youthful. Would have been better, sooner, with a vigorous decant.
December 4, 2021 - Super pale. Nose is melon, pear, and another fruit I can’t place. Light body but substantial at the same time. More melon, green apple, white peach. Perfect acid, finish lingers but doesn’t overstay. Lovely.
May 13, 2021 - seriously lacking any charm. Nose ok on white flower and matchstick but mouth is too acidic and sour.
April 16, 2021 - Not a substitute for the Chardonnay. 8 bottles would have been better spent upgrading, at least this vintage .
April 11, 2021 - Agree with other notes, very pale in color - almost looks like a cider. I really enjoyed this, extremely light body but interesting. Very crushable but had character at the same time. Would buy again, great QPR.
