February 1, 2024 - In JH not with specific dinner. Very elegant mid weight syrah. Actually it should always taste like this. Very balanced great fruit, body and length. Wont stand up to heavy meal but excellent with cheese, pizza etc. great wine

May 12, 2023 - Went well with a spicy brisket... and a chocolate cupcake! Great finish...

March 9, 2023 - Not what I was expecting: a meaty, West Coast full throttle Syrah. This is lighter both in texture and structure as well as color. I could actually, at first tasting, cconfuse this with a cru Beaujolais. Second day I'd rate it a 91, it fleshes out a bit and was more integrated. This would be the perfect hot summer day Syrah.

March 6, 2023 - By the bottle at Laundry in Steamboat Springs, CO. Decanted for about an hour. Nose is really shy, but I am picking up dark berry notes, a hint of white pepper, something limestoney like CdP sometimes smells. Palate is dusty, black licorice, cola, sage, plums, slightly umami finish. I wish it were less fruity and more savory, but it’s still enjoyable if not life-changing. Lighter bodied for Syrah, nice balance but I was hoping for a bit more oomph. Seems like a bit more time will help accentuate its elegance.

March 4, 2023 - A lighter bodied syrah, more on the bright fruit and acidity side. With my first bottle that threw me off a bit, it’s a change of pace from the 2016. With the second bottle, knowing what to expect, I really like this wine! Great floral notes and lingers long with a hint of the rocks.
