February 12, 2024 - Big and brawny for a blend, Cab still dominates. Plenty of fruit, with just enough acidity to keep it from being a fruit bomb and enough complexity to keep it interesting.

February 13, 2023 - The vanilla oak has died down since my last bottle of this in 2020. In its place a slight capsicum note has emerged which adds a lot to the wine and keeps it from feeling too monolithic. That said, it's still not really my style. It's very much a ripe, modern, in-your-face kind of wine. Certainly not bad, just not really my thing. This should be served with bold food, probably barbecue.

September 10, 2022 - A dynamic floral bouquet and lengthy finish, this is drinking well with juicy ripe fruit, and great lifted energy. Well structured with chewy tannins, fresh acidity and tension. Drink or hold.

June 14, 2022 - Well, I didn’t read my previous notes, so I opened it tonight. This bottle still seemed very fresh, and ready to age for another 5+ years,Especially when compared to the last bottle. Oh well, a wonderful 92 Pointer, and a Excellent QPR (at WTSO’s $).

April 11, 2022 - Another solid 92 Pointer. Have to say, I don’t believe this has “decades” ahead of it, but it does have “years” ahead of it. I’m down to my last bottle, so I may put it on my “do not drink” list. But that doesn’t mean shit! 😂
