December 1, 2021 - Excellent Barbera, need to decant the alcohol aroma off after 10 minutes, then nice blue fruit aroma, silky smooth with nice acid to make it tight. Great buy in Barbera. DRINK NOW

August 2, 2021 - Second of two bottles from the case I purchased in 2020. First bottle was tight and "big", not the soft juicy tannins I was expecting. Second bottle drank last night had settled, indeed transformed its self. Tannins in harmony with gobs of cassis and black cherry fruit while retaining some density, in a word balanced. What a difference a year can make to a wine.

October 7, 2020 - What a great wine. Tremendous balance and freshness. Rockstar wine.

February 12, 2020 - A young vibrant wine with bracing acidity. Crushed mulberries, forward red fruit, acidic and a bit off-balanced now. Wait -- best on day 3, showing a better balance between a more nuanced fruit and softening acidity. Still, at its best, came off as a somewhat one-dimensional fruit driven wine.

More finesse than the sori del drago, with more lift and some spice.
