October 19, 2022 - Decanted for ~3-hrs before pouring (blinded), alongside the '18 Philippe Colin Chevy (also blinded). Both started similarly, with flint making up the most part of the nose before the Chevy started pulling away and had more (giving) development. That said, this developed on a slower pace, even a bit austere ('cept for the flinty nose) for the first 30-mins. Thereafter, as it warmed up in the glass, more interesting notes starting appearing, with citrus followed by bits of white-flowers & even a teeny bit of honey. On the palate, this showed minerality/salinity, very good freshness and a moderate finish. A very good wine for its (village, granted its "uniqueness") level...

mouth - lovely richness, honey, tangerine, had a inviting openness .
New respect for Dessous. more memorable than some Dessus

February 13, 2022 - Drank with some non-wine folks to explain why I like white Burgundy. It worked.

November 18, 2021 - No theme night: First time trying this illustrious plot albeit the village bottling. Showed glimpses of its potential but not quite together yet. Somewhat woolly nose, high acid and elegant texture but could do with a little more intensity of fruit.

April 1, 2021 - Have to admit I became obsessed with trying this wine because of its name - having two vineyards side-by-side (or one above the other) with one being village and the other 1er cru, and a single vowel separating them, is maybe the most French thing I've ever heard. This is a very pale hue, but its taste is elegant and precise and toward the weightless end of the spectrum. I don't think it's as lengthy or intense as the C-D 1er cru but I want to try them together to know. A very good village wine.
