April 27, 2024 - Lacks grip and structure, its big, rich and one-dimensional, not convinced it will improve.

February 8, 2024 - A quick taste in Vintage Cellars today, on the way to buy my wife some gin. I liked this enough to buy a couple. Lovely dry savoury, mature but not past its peak. Really enjoyable.

June 9, 2022 - Great Grenache, no sign of having past the peak 9 years down the track. Deep, brick red in colour. Welcoming bouquet, and rich fruit with generous spice and long tannic finish. Very Rhone in spirit.

May 16, 2021 - Strawberries, Eucalyptus, currents and plum on the nose.
Cherries, raspberries, spice and some slight floral notes on the palette. Nnot as much fruit as I'd expect from a McLarenVale Grenache, grippy tannins. Quite a long finish. Drink within the next 2 years

May 15, 2021 - Red berries and an earthiness on the nose. Light red colour.
Very little fruit left, super savoury with some dry hectic tannins with a solid bite of alcohol on the finish.

Picked this up on on vinomofo sale. Id say its at the end of its drinking window, thus the sale.

    Good fun, something different.
