July 16, 2023 - This one impresses with its earthy nose, deep, dark fruit aromas accompanied by hints of cassis, cedar and tobacco leaf. On the palate, it delivers intense flavors of black cherry and crushed blueberry, complemented by notes of plum, black olive, dried herbs, and dark chocolate. The fine-grained tannins are firm and elegant, providing a structured mouthfeel, finishing quite long. Superb.

September 12, 2021 - Excellent Coombsville cab. Drinkable now with an hour of air, a decade or two of life in it given the typical Tulocay aging profile.

December 4, 2019 - Intense yet restrained Coombsville Cabernet from a very tiny vineyard. Great balance of ample acidity with 14.4% alcohol, coupled with obvious tannins. Will be stunning after all the elements meld together in 10 or more years. This is a typical Bill Cadman/Tulocay Cabernet, tho the wines are now being made by his daughter Brie.
