  September 2, 2022 - This is still a tad young, but giving it some breathing and decanting will bring out the best. We've had prior vintages and this Zin from Rutherford in Napa must cross-pollinate with Cab, because it seems a Cab style of Zin, rarely seen. Very fruit forward without being a fruit bomb, varietally correct with the above notes taken into account. Robust without being in your face. Quite long finish that coats the tongue.
  Grilled lamb chops were a perfect pairing.
  Been to this winery, it is small and up in the hills east and north of Napa; smaller winery, but totally dedicated to quality wine and not excessive prices. Highly recommend, but it needs air, pop'n'pour will disappoint.

  April 7, 2022 - Red berry fruit with charcoal accents. Graceful zin with good mouthfeel. Dries up some on the finish.

  February 23, 2021 - First taste was bitter and it never got better. Some rasberry fruit. Harsh. With all the good Zin out there, there is no need to buy this.
