Community Tasting Notes 2

  • Richard123 Likes this wine: 90 points

March 14, 2024 - Well... This was a different wine. The heavy funk has gone, and is now really very lovely with some nice mineral and fruit, still some evidence of the funk but in balance. If anything, maybe ever so slightly past its prime...

Only got the two, but seems like it takes about 6 years to peak...

The main points are strong toast, vanilla and tart cherry. Seems to need food pairing, but not sure what... Sausage? Cheddar and pickle/chutney? Suggestions welcome.
