Community Tasting Notes 1

October 20, 2019 - Decanted. This young wine is currently in need of a ton of air time.
The nose is shy at first but with air start to reveal notes of cranberry, cherry and brambly raspberry along with notes of earth, chalk, graphite, goji, tea and dried rose petal.
The high toned palate is wound tight and slightly closed. This wine shows high level acidity. The palate shows flavors of fresh cranberry, goji, sour cherry and brambly raspberry that come laced with earth, mineral, tea and a trace of dried rose petal. The finish lingers while the tannins slowly gain.
Way too young at the moment this wine needs some serious cellar time to come into its own, which it will.
