May 12, 2008 - Much better then a previous bottle but this was a spring day so the environment may have come into play. This is not a wine I will buy again.

March 13, 2008 - Really did not care for this wine. Weedy tasting and hard. Had high hopes for a nice quaffing wine for summer but has none of the pleasant attributes of Rose and none of the power, sophistication or smoothness etc. of syrah. Very disappointing. Last 1/3 of bottle used for cooking Italian sausages.

February 7, 2008 - Nice bright red fruit. Strawberry with good oak balance. Dry finish, really get a syrah taste with a good looking in the glass wine. (still over 14% alcohol by volume)
