October 11, 2023 - 11 Oct 2023. Decanted carefully with noticeable sediment. First taste was good, nice pronounced fruit on the palate but flat on the nose.

.... but after an hour it was a completely different wine. The nose developed nicely, complex, blackberry fruit with graphite kick. Palate extended, long smooth fruit with the tannins pleasantly present but not overpowering. 92

October 29, 2022 - Excellent wine, still young but drinking great with about an hour of air. Bold, complex, lots of dark fruit.

August 20, 2022 - Sourced from the Oakville, Oak Knoll and Carneros AVAs, this wine is beautiful. Red, black and blue fruits are all represented here. The cork was withdrawn to a beautiful ruby red stain. Poured a thick maroon color with a hint of violet hue. Beautiful floral and red fruitcake nose - violets, jasmine, lavender, raspberry, black cherry and spice cake. The entry is roasted red and black fruits with noticeable amounts of brambleberry, rhubarb pie, raspberry, baking spice, Fig Newton, punchy and youthful and chewy tannins. Finish is about 45 to 60 seconds. Really impressive wine and definitely a very good price point considering the crazy direction that the average Napa wine has been skyrocketing in the last few vintages. A deal if you can get this for $55 and drinks better than some wines at literally almost 10x the price point. Beautiful wine.
