Community Tasting Notes 12

March 20, 2024 - Decanted off virtually no sediment. Gave this a few round trips through an aerating decanter. Dense nose unlike other varietals I've experienced. Palate before food dominated by drying tannins, flavors start to emerge on finish. Ok, with rack of lamb this really showed its glory. Tannins muted by the meat let the ample body emerge. Will guess this wine will continue to positively evolve for at least another 5.

March 8, 2024 - Intens- aroma med vanilje, mørke bær, plommer, sopp og kjøtt. Høy syre, fine men lange tanniner. Høy alkohol. Intens- smak med mørke bær og vanilje. Lang- finish.

October 23, 2023 - Well integrated and drinking nicely right now.

August 28, 2023 - Nose: Blackberry, cranberry, herbal note
Palate: Tannins have nicely softened, not totally melted, so in my opinion the wine is its ideal drinking window.
Drink now and within the following 5 to 6 years.

December 4, 2022 - Blackberry, plum, leather, and some balsamic on the nose. Dark fruit, herbal notes, coffee, spice on the palate. Nice concentrated flavors. Medium plus acid, moderate grippy tannins, full body, and a medium to long finish with coffee and spice notes.
