June 3, 2023 - Prior bottle was 18 months ago and while this wine continues to show well, there was some bottle variation here and the 2017 from last night was just a shade better. Apple and pear along with floral and a lightly tart orange note. Close to medium bodied with white apple, a touch of white pear and then white peach. The fruit notes are showing quite well, but are a bit more round and a touch more integrated than previously. Very pretty tropical highlights come in towards the back, contributing to complexity. Tart orange, acidity and mineral notes through the finish. This wine is in a great spot at present, but based on where the acidity is, should probably be drunk over the next 2 years to enjoy at this level.

November 25, 2021 - Prior bottle was nearly 13 months ago and the wine has evolved positively in that time, fully justifying the initial score given. More aromatic now on the nose with pear and apple initially along with lots of floral qualities, spice notes and tart orange. Medium bodied with white apple and pear upfront and adding white peach through the middle. These fruit notes feel slightly better defined than previously and also have a good mix of roundness and brighter qualities. Retains the tropical highlights towards the back and then shows a distinct tart orange note to go along with the acidity and minerals. As compared to the 2017, I think the acidity in the 2018 is now more vibrant and more in keeping with the fruit its supporting while overall integration has also improved. While last bottle might have been slightly behind the 2017, the potential was clear and the wine has now delivered. Drinking quite well now and might even have some room to further improve. I'll plan to open my next/last bottle alongside the 2017 again in Q3 2022.

October 28, 2020 - Pear, apple, floral and spice notes on the nose that got more aromatic the longer it was open. Close to medium bodied (12% ABV) with white pear and apple notes upfront, moving towards tart, white peach through the middle that rounded out and became more harmonious the longer the wine was open. Softer on the backside than the 2017, it shows hints of tropical qualities, but remains fully dry. Acidity still provide a solid backbone, but not quite to the level of the 2017. The balance between fruit and acidity remains a strongpoint. Finishes with minerals, quince and lightly tart white fruit. Next bottle for me will be Fall 2021 and I'm very interested to see how this particular style evolves.

July 19, 2019 - FLX TRIP NOTES; 7/4/2019-7/31/2019: this is the second vintage of Peach Orchard for me, and it shows the bright peachy note again! Lighter than 17, with white peach , gooseberry and slate. Hints of green apricot and elegant softer texture. Even though it is quite dry - the softer texture and the sweeter stone fruit give it a feinherb feel.
