Tasted double blind. Surprisingly young, a bit freaky, mineral, dense. Nice, but not my favorite wine style. -

July 8, 2023 - Académie des Cinquante Italy Tasting (Restaurant de Watergeus, Noorden, NL): Tasted blind. Pale colour, rich but refined style, extremely classy, everything in place, citrus, gentle wood, “ruht in sich” ("sovereign" is the best translation I can think of), pure and relaxed, such elegance and finesse, flowing from the palate to the long and dreamy finish over the most delicate bitters.
