June 24, 2019 - Visiting Rome and Tuscany; 6/18/2019-7/2/2019 (Lazio and Tuscany, Italy): Zaccagnini's 2018 Yamada Pecorino is a limpid, pale yellow wine that offers aromas and flavors of grapefruit, white peaches, pears and jasmine. Light-bodied, crisply acidic, bone dry, unoaked and with seamless alcohol (13%), it stays solid on the middle palate and concludes with a vibrant, medium-length finish. Enjoy this fruity white as an apéritif or with light fare, preferably in its youth. Drink now-2020.
