March 29, 2024 - Strawberries, cherries, beeswax and a little Syrah funk. Glycerine. Medium body. Think aged cold-climate Syrah or aged Central Coast pinot. Just soft flavors and texture with very little tannins.
    Very enjoyable

February 11, 2024 - Almost identical note from my 2018 bottle. Andremily is easily a top 5 favorite producer for me, and their rosé is a favorite.

    I believe this is roughly 45 Syrah/30 Mourvèdre/remainder TBD?

Young and spicy herbs with savory oak tannin. Translucent ruby in the glass. Ripe black raspberries, peppered strawberry purée and cherry jerky notes on both the nose and palate. There’s a hint of green/herbs but it’s faint. This is a wine that belongs to its own class, not anyone else. Love it or hate it style, and I can’t get enough. This winery just knocks everything out of the park for me.

June 2, 2022 - Fun wine. Not your typical Rose. Drinks more like a light bodied red.

March 25, 2022 - BYO (Michaels place): Creme fraiche and buttermilk mixed with sweet strawberry fruit and a lot of different spices.
Quite bitter aftertaste with sour cranberry fruit which, for me, kept the wine in a decent balance.
It is truly not a regular rose to sip on a hot day. It is a compact, dense and truly special wine. It is definitely not a palate-cleanser like a normal rose wine.
It is a wine for contemplation and really something to get excited about! Beautiful and delicious but also very special. 94-95p
Over time, the alcohol dominates the flavors a bit but as long as it is kept fairly cold it is truly a great experience to drink!
