  February 24, 2024 - Medium ruby colored with medium viscosity (14% ABV). The nose has medium intensity aromas of cranberry, raspberry, black cherry and pomegranate. The palate is dry with medium acidity, medium (-) tannins and a medium body. Flavors of red fruit with cedar, red licorice and dusty earth to a medium length finish. 89 points for this $24 effort makes it a 4 star wine to drink till 2028 with pasta, Cornish hen or grilled/plank salmon.

  December 10, 2022 - Tasted at the winery with Enzo Brezza and marketing manager Giulia. This is apparently made from fruit from the Cannubi vineyard. This showed really quite well and was rich and a translucent garnet-crimson color. Fragrant and mostly fruit driven on the nose and palate. It has low tannin and medium(+) acidity. With a slightly savory edge, it has flavors of ripe plum and cherry. Nice mouthfeel for a Barbera. Moderately long on the finish. Better than the average Barbera for sure.
