August 21, 2022 - This wine has changed, and so much more for the better, bravo as usual to Pierre! Please be careful, this wine is not ready for showtime, the acidity does not come out until at least 8 hours of bottle air time, please do not be careless with this wine! Also, do NOT drink this wine from the fridge, please let the wine come to almost room temperature, much akin to red wine.
After many hours, the nose of this wine is showing beautifully, a lovely Roussanne, earth, mineral, rich brightness, sweet floral notes, straw, yellow plum, lanolin, almonds, walnuts, and apple. The mouth of this full-bodied wine is layered, rich, and nicely extracted, with piercing acidity, showing a rich oily structure, with layers of green apple, quince, lovely richness, with mineral, grass, straw, and lovely acidity showing lovely with flowers, and rich lemongrass. The finish is crazy good, showing lovely acidity, rich heather, hints of smoke, loads of mineral, straw, dry grass, and quince lingering super long, with acidity, and loam!! BRAVO!!!! Drink until 2025.

January 29, 2022 - Delicious, the nose was heaven, really everything I would expect from a great white. It's Netofa doing it again.

May 30, 2021 - 100% roussanne sourced from the lower Galilee, aged for 10 months in oak barrels, 13.5% ABV, and not mevushal. Appearance was a deep gold, almost amber hue with little viscosity. Nose was medium intensity and really wonderfully aromatic, apricot, guava, marmalade, jasmine, beeswax, chamomile, lemon curd, and brioche. On the palate it is medium to full bodied, very rich buttery mouthfeel, with moderate, crisp acidity, and a mineral driven profile. A touch of tropical fruit notes at the fore gives way to citrus notes of Meyer lemon and grapefruit rind, as well as saline, slate, cream, smoke, and green almonds. The finish is very long and citrus driven, quite pleasant. This is a wonderful white wine and a nice alternative to Chardonnay. Yet another winning French expression from the Israeli Netofa. 91-92.

    September 27, 2020 - Golden in color.

Spicy nose with ripen yellow apples, spices, light vanilla, wood, bitter herbs, vegetables, apricots, peppercorn, citrus and lemons.

    Full bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with apples, over ripened citrus fruits, lemons, light butter, herbs, limes, spices and black pepper.

Tangy finish with black pepper and limes.

This 3 year old Roussanne from Israel is delicious now. Showing nice complexity with a great buttery mouthfeel.

I had it a year ago, and it is drinking nicer now. Would be nice to see how this evolves in the next year or two. Nicer when it opens up (30 minutes). A good quality wine.

Good by itself or with food. I paired it with grape leaves, crackers, cheeses and olives.

100% Roussanne grapes from the Galilee were aged for 10 months in French oak barrels. Kosher.

    13.5% alcohol by volume.

    90 points.

    $32.

June 28, 2020 - Similar to prev TN with the very nice tea notes. But this bottle had a somewhat off-putting bitterness throughout that was different than my previous bottle.
