March 29, 2024 - Pale yellow. Reductive, lemon, wet stone, saline, subtle butter/popcorn. Citrus, medium body. Medium length. Great wine!

July 28, 2023 - Generous wine, floral, with ginger's notes in the nose. Also notes of iodine and lemon, dried fruit. In the mouth is full, with a slight hazelnut, a very fine savouriness. At the nose returns chalk and iodine notes.
Beautiful and elegant acidity, perfect mineral tension. Very impressione like a grand cru. -

Pale lemon. Pronounced. Blossom. Ripe citrus, apple. Crisp stone fruit. Lemon curd, pastry, cream. Wood and toasted notes. Complex. There is tension and precision in an ample profile. Balanced.
High acidity, med body. Some phenolic grip. Long and zingy finish. Outstanding.

Size: 1.25 ha (3.09 ac)
Vine Age: Planted in 1964
Terroir: In the valley between St.-Aubin and Puligny, middle to top of a steep (40% grade) hill, facing south/southwest, shallow soil on hard limestone bedrock.
Viticulture: Lutte raisonnée
Vinification: Gentle pressing, light settling, fermentation and aged for 12 months in 300L and 600L barrels, followed by 6-12 months blending in tank.
