Community Tasting Notes 4

February 1, 2024 - This has refinement, but lacks much charm. The best thing about it is the oak notes - good quality barrels! High acidity, medium weight. Medium finish, straightforward. Drinking nicely, will endure for many years.

September 22, 2023 - Great showing for the village level. Detailed orchard fruit, lemon, nice finish. Would buy all day

December 29, 2021 - For this price point, I would buy this all day long. Lemon zest, wet slate stone, crushed rocks, and mica. To get this out of a village level wine is terrific. Fresh acidity and vibrant.

December 26, 2021 - Dinner with Friends (Maple & Ash, Chicago): Lovely deep straw yellow color with aromas of mineral, wet wool and apple/orchard fruit. Terrific presence on the palate with plenty of weight to match the delicacies presented on the grilled seafood tower. Plenty of fruit on the palate with a nice mineral tinge with balancing acidity. Excellent for its level.
