October 1, 2021 - WOTN against some unusual wines. A Cal. Pinotage , Lonea Prieta from Santa Cruz, a Hamel Isthmus, and a 2008 Producttori Barberesco Ovello (93pts). I love Musar and it is difficult for me to describe why, I just always find it special. It can be a little sour, fig, , blackberry.

August 15, 2021 - Needs time air after opening, but is really excellent wine. Full of freshness, will maintain for sure another 5 to 8 years. Great value as always from Musar.

August 13, 2021 - Popped and poured. Some classic Musar funk right out of the gate with some exotic Turkish spice shop in the background. Ripe black fruits and spice on the palate with medium+ acid, medium tannin. Seemed to get better as it opened up over the course of an hour. Very enjoyable.

August 9, 2021 - excellent wine. On the nose with sour cherries, some blackcurrants.
    Leather and some earthy notes.
Palate is smooth and fresh on the red-black fruits notes. Soft tannins but still presenting some grip - can hold 5-10 more years for sure.

June 17, 2021 - As per my Feb '20 note.
The dense concentration of this wine is amazing and although in perfect balance now is clearly a wine that will evolve (fine Riesling-like) over the decades, changing with time but maintaining its high quality. 92+?+
    Now till 2035 at least.
