March 5, 2020 - Another bottle of this, and I still like this and am impressed by the overall balance. That said, my wife, who was primarily drinking a Boca, did not care for this.

No argument that the nose is fruit-forward, but the palate is not over the top, and I find this very drinkable.

February 5, 2020 - You know, and I don't mean this to be derogatory or otherwise confrontational, but after reading Chablis28's TN of this wine, I have to wonder if we drank the same wine?

This is a larger-scaled, fruit-forward wine, but I would describe the fruit as fresh, not raisined. And at least according to the label, this is 13.5% alcohol, not exactly an over-the-top kind of reading.

Not the most complex or subtle wine by any means, but I've drunk worse on a Wednesday night ;^)

December 27, 2019 - Great after a few minutes of decanting. Guesses mostly on a rhone syrah.
    Great with reindeer!

October 6, 2019 - Been decades since I've had this wine and, it will be decades again, if ever. Upon opening, at around 65 degrees, this was a mess. Spritzy, raisiny and way too much Alc on the nose. Undrinkable on night 1, for us. I put the cork back in, vigorously shook it, and put in the frig for the next simple meal. Opened tonight, 3 nights later, and much better if you're drink it chilled like a white / sub 55 degrees. The spritz is gone but still way too much raisin and alc if you let it warm past the mid 50s. I didn't feel like returning it and made it work. 83 pts if semi cold / un-scorable if drank at a normal red temp of low 60s.
