January 21, 2024 - It's A Boy! Just kidding! (Mi Casa): Similar notes to last time. This was probably the most pleasurable to drink tonight. The 18 VV To Kalon is probably in its primary phase optimal drinking window if that makes any sense. Lots of red fruit, laced with forest floor. Unfortunately, this was the last bottle but am happy I popped it.

January 20, 2024 - Stylistic '18 blind (The Sumoba compound): N: Dark and aromatic red fruits, spiced dry oak, dark and damp earth. With time, a bit of smoked meats and a pleasant side of bell peppers.
P: Black fruits with a nice bitterness from graphite, and a trail of bitter stony mineral on the finish. A pleasant delivery of comforting earth, while being generous and handing off the fruits and minerals onto the mid palate. A nice brightness that provided nice lift as well.
Favorite of the blind lineup. So comforting, approachable, and giving. It was like meeting someone new, but for some reason it is like you knew the person for a long time already.2 people found this helpful Comment -

November 18, 2023 - Very perfumed with roses, cocoa, and roasted coffee beans. Bursting with juicy ripe fresh dark fruit, high acid, smooth tannins. Went superb with our autumn-themed dinner: hunnynut squash pasta with browned butter and sage, pork bolognese, butternut squash pizza, and marigold panna cotta.

August 14, 2023 - Had for a lunch party with steaks. Incredible! So floral and open with about an hour of air. Good to go now?
