  August 9, 2016 - Holly Smokes!!! So I've had this bottle in the cellar for a full six years undisturbed and what an amazing difference it's made! It has come into it's own, evolved, matured and drank like a wine triple it's cost. I notice here that the last tasting note here is from 2011, if you have any of this left stored under proper conditions, grill a steak, pop a bottle and strap yourself in for a delightful experience!!!

  June 5, 2007 - Nice spicy nose with black cherry and plum. The palate shows nicely. Ripe blackberry, hints of chocolate towards the finish with mild, yet existing tannins, and soft acidity. Well made Merlot (is that an oxymoron?)

  June 1, 2007 - Great nose, with some powerful red fruits. Nice fruit, and great structure for a Napa merlot. There's no flabbiness to this wine. It's muscular, with a juicy acidity. Very well balanced and enjoyable. 90+
