October 28, 2023 - For old times' sake, and because I still respect this producer based on past experience. Rather pale. Mild and slightly lactic aroma. The taste is unexpectedly soft and sweet, though not unbalanced, with just faint zesty bitterness. Reminds me of Moutard's rosé which I used to get from this retailer around 15 years ago. Probably sitting in bottle on a shelf has mellowed it, and for the better. The next day, unchanged. [Cork + cage; 12% abv; Booths, £30].

July 12, 2019 - Mid copper-orange. Mild nose, quite sweet with pinot fruit and a touch of iron. Again quite sweet on the palate, albeit with adequate acidity. Fairly bitter on the finish. This has good stuffing but isn't immediately lovable. Some nice aged character, but also a little austere, especially for a rosé. [Composite cork + cage; 12% abv; Booths, ~£26].
