August 24, 2016 - Toasted nut, popcorn and yellow fruit on the nose and palate. Good acidity in the backdrop. Very balanced. Drinking perfectly tonight. Better than many montrachet. There is depth in this wine.

August 5, 2015 - This should be the best d'Auvenay AD I ever tried. Ready and in it's peak now. In cooler temperature, it gave lovely floral, fruity, sharp mineral and vivid acidity. When warmed, it became a sumptuous Meursault with heavy butter and cream. It's so complex and elegant that can rival even some of Burg white Grand Crus. Kudos to Madame Lalou's magic!

August 5, 2014 - Took an hour to open up, nose with toasted nuts, slight sulphur initially, citrus fruit. Palate with great acidity balance and lots of minerals at the end. At a great time to drink now.
