October 6, 2016 - Doing fine and a vibrant wine from the Chateau in good form.

Representing the cool tones of Fourtet and in a relative light edition (1977 was for most a forgettable vintage) while having a complexity and more layers of developed notes.

May 10, 2015 - At La Chevre d'Or in Eze Côte d'Azur. Completely bricked color. Bouquet still offers vibrant fruit with tabac, hazelnuts, and old wooden barks. Palate is silky and on the lighter side as expected of this aged wine, with very light tannins. Finishes short medium with pleasant aromas of dried fruits, tobacco leaves, a touch dough. Excellent and quite alive for its age, one can always wait more years if stored impeccably.

May 16, 2007 - Gourmet dinner and tasting at ProActive: Light brown color with watery rim. An "old" nose of raisins, wood, port. Still showing hints of sweet fruit, but whatever life that was left quickly leaves the glass.

March 4, 2007 - Level: A+ (bottle was "rebouché" in 2004). Dark redbrown color, thin tears on side of glass. Niiice nose of leather, tobacco and orange peel. Medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel, vibrant acidity and a fruit, that is still alive. Falls a bit short. Excellent performance for 30 year old!
