Community Tasting Notes 1

February 24, 2007 - Velvety purple in colour this port, now aged to perfection, shows fruity sweetness of the nose. The palate is rich and sweet backed by a crisp acidic backbone. Went very well indeed with strong cheddar and stilton cheese.

The BA wine list says: "Complex, sweet, nutty flavours offer an admirable after-dinner glass"

Tasted in First class aboard BA59 from London Heathrow to Cape Town.
