Community Tasting Notes 3

November 18, 2007 - The color was golden, and on the palate my mental picture was grass and citrus. Although this a probably a 'different' wine, one of our dinner guests (who is not a wine enthusiast) thoroughly enjoyed the wine, too. This wine was recommended by the staff at my preferred wine store, and I plan to purchase more.

October 6, 2007 - Nose of white flowers and pears; crisp and clean apple and white fruit on the palate

June 13, 2007 - A different Sancerre - Oak. Clear, bright and brilliant, straw gold and consistent core to rim. The wine was clean and healthy with medium intensity aromas of oak, maybe stoned fruit and buttery. Natter uses Oak for this Sancerre and it came through on the nose. A dry wine with lively acidity and no tannins. Citrus and mineral flavors on the palate. Intergrated alcohol in this wine with a long minerally finish. RTD - an excellent wine. An interesting Sancerre with the use of oak. I got the oak on the nose, but not on the palate. Vintage '59 Imports.
