October 2, 2023 - Well defined nose but still feels tightly coiled. Layers of rich cherry, strawberry, cedar and fine spices. Some leather and earth notes. Rich but fresh on the palate. Long, spiced black cherry conserve finish. Delicious now but will continue to improve.

    WSET Notes:

    Medium ruby.

Pronounced on the nose with red and black cherry, caramel, strawberry, violet, clove, cinammon, smoke, dark chocolate, vanilla, cedar, leather and earth. Developing.

Pronounced and dry on the palate. High acidity, medium tannins, high alcohol, full body, long finish.

Can drink now but has potential for ageing.

September 11, 2023 - Wow. This has a lot to offer. Similar to my previous note from 2021, it has bountiful cherry on the palate, with lots of acid and well aged tannins. While drinking well right now, this has plenty of aging potential. I'm extending my drinking window to 2031 (and it could go longer).

July 14, 2023 - Ruby colored, rich and well integrated flavors. Red and black fruit, tobacco, maybe a hint of mushroom. Long finish. In a great drinking window
