April 14, 2023 - This one was disappointing, tight and closed despite over an hour in decanter. Not as big as previous bottles, don't know why.

February 4, 2023 - I brought this to an Afghan restaurant so it was a pop 'n pour. No detailed notes, but, this was great. Everything I would want from a new world Syrah. I might be shorting this a point. I should note that I'm usually hit or miss with Martinelli's Syrahs, and I didn't care for my previous bottle of this vintage and vineyard. But this one I loved! Sorry but no detailed tasting notes for this one.

December 10, 2022 - Could have gone to 94. A terrific Syrah with a long, sweetish finish. Big flavors as you would expect from Martinelli, their wines are not for fans of subtlety.

I brought this to a Cheeseburger and Zin dinner for my wine group, and while I thought at 15/9% alcohol it would fit in with the Zins, I just didn't work for me. Maybe I shouldn't have had with the Zins? To be fair, other members of my wine group really enjoyed it.
