October 22, 2023 - Medium/ dark lemon color
Medium plus aromas of ripe lemon and pear with fresh herbs and white florals/ fruit blossom
Medium bodied with palate of light citrus/ dry herbs but really dominated by dry rock minerality
Medium plus acidity and medium alcohol with moderate phenolic bitterness
Medium finish equally led by bitterness/ acid and minerality
Drinking very well presently -

October 15, 2023 - Double blind tasting
Pale gold, filtered
Aromatics medium +. Luscious tree fruit of yellow ripe pear followed by florals. No new oak, pyrazines nor earth.
Palate has a medium body. Acid medium +. I did not get phenolics. Alcohol medium. Minerals of salt and rock, yellow apples and citrus
Finish has a medium + length. Balanced
I guessed a 2019 Chablis. After the reveal, there are phenolics, but I never picked up on these, which may have changed my guess?
Not withstanding my blind tasting issues, nice wine that I have had several times and always liked. This was the screw cap version, but I don't recall if this changes much
Drinking well now. -

March 1, 2023 - Last bottle - Stelvin cap version. Bottle was a bit more tired than I remember. Drink up.

October 2, 2022 - Did the Stelvin vs Cork test tonight. Both were delicious. Now that they are 5 years in, we decided that the cork version was "rounder" and had a bit more body. These could go beyond 2023 but why wait.

September 4, 2022 - Second btl of this, this one bottled with (real) cork. No notes but this seemed very typical and true to the AC. A tad clumsy with more glycerin/sugar I was looking for on a scorching night in CA
