  November 13, 2021 - Brought to dinner - no notes taken
  Aromas were medium intensity - primarily red/black fruit driven with smoky/ leather element I hadnt noted on previous tasting
  Medium bodied with delicious boysenberry/ blackberry fruit and green stem quality
  Medium minus tannins and medium alcohol
  Maybe less interesting than previous tasting notes suggested but remains a very interesting wine and very enjoyable

  December 27, 2020 - Single blind tasting
  Purple with rim clearing
  Aromatics medium +. No oak. Black fruit and pepper
  Palate medium +. Acid medium. Tannins medium +, fine on the teeth and tongue. Alcohol medium +. Black and blue fruit, chalk and peppers
  Finish has medium length. Balanced
  Dry glass notes of cranberry

  December 23, 2020 - Very interesting purple/ blue hued wine with moderate clearing at rim
  Medium aromas of boysenberry jam with distinct green stemmy notes and dry earth elements
  Medium palate of red and blue fruit with floral notes
  Medium acidity and medium tannins with moderate alcohol and nice finish
  I found this to be a fascinating wine - Distinguishable as a Zinfandel by the aromas but so different than any I've tasted before
  I agree with previous reviewers comparing this to Beaujolais - I may be way off but Im getting a sense of whole cluster use due to the nice stemmy notes on the nose
  I could drink this all day and would recommend drinking now due to its delightful but subdued fruity character

  November 26, 2020 - First bottle of a pair. Really pretty Cali Zinfandel. Low alcohol. Light. Lots of character.
