March 25, 2024 - Bright crimson in color. 14.5% ABV. Brilliant nose of red fruits, licorice and pepper. Medium body with mouth watering acidity. Bursting with bright, juicy fruits. Cherry preserves, raspberry liqueur, baking spices and pepper on the palate. Nice length on the finish. Really delicious Zinfandel that lacks the concentration for a long run in the cellar. Enjoy this one over the next several years.

December 13, 2023 - Limerick Lane makes high quality wines & this was no exception.
Aromas of burnt sugar, crème brûlée caramel with some baking spices. Fantastique!
Loads of smoky, dark cherry & blackberry fruit flavors. Hints of tobacco, very dark in color, luscious in the mouth.

October 15, 2023 - Decanted one hour. Fruit-forward style with fantastic variety of red, blue, and black fruit. Very nice depth and finish. Drinking very well now with a short decant.

September 17, 2023 - Decanted 1hr. Loads of bright and rich Zinberry fruit, still shows a bit of wood, long and complete. Some chatter on WB abut LL not aging so well - so I played it safe and opened my one and only bottle with no regrets.

March 19, 2023 - 15 minute decant. Nose of white birch and rustic raspberry. Supple and polished palate delivers a delicious melange of blueberry, red raspberry, and red peppercorn giving way to an interesting mix of herbs and mint. Oak leads the finish but red fruits, cranberry, apple notes quickly take over a drive the finish into spice and long, lingering tannins. Spectacular at this tasting, which is a bit odd since we didn't think it was when we drank it on a PnP five months ago. Decant for sure and can hold for a long time.
