January 17, 2024 - Time has been good to this wine. Previously was tight and needed time. ready to go now. Great aromatics with raspberry, blueberry, minerals and earth. The palate shows raspberry, blueberry, minerals, earth and cedar. Good balance in a medium body wine. Smooth finish. Still very young, but showing well, hitting its window.

October 31, 2023 - Hitting on all cylinders. Enticing spicy red fruit aromatics, delicious red fruit flavors, plenty of tension on the palate. Top notch.

November 26, 2022 - A terrific CA Pinot that seemed more Northern Willamette Valley or almost old world. Decanted for about 30 minutes and got started. Nice raspberry and rose pedals with a tad of earth. A nice pairing with filets and leftover sausage stuffing. Kudos on this beautiful wine

August 23, 2022 - Opened, poured into a decanter, and enjoyed with food (NY strip steak and some warmed up leftover paella, in case you were wondering).
    Ruby color.
Wonderful nose of red berries and some spice notes. Slight hint of an herbal element.
Fresh red berries - cranberries and raspberries - with fresh and inviting acidity. Such elegance in the glass. Enjoyable floral note that hits on the midpalate.
Fresh and inviting. A lovely wine.

Quality cork with brand, vineyard and vintage.

Nota Bene - I have not been impressed with the Hirsch Bohan pinot bottling; perhaps it is the grapes from the graveyard block that raise the wine to another level.
