March 9, 2013 - Amber gold hue. A little muted nose with Petroleum jelly and orange blossom. Great acidity and freshness with a pin point crisp finish. Lots on aftertaste with green apple, grapefruit, butter, honey and lime. Well done and aging well. Drink now-2016.

January 11, 2012 - Light golden color. Nose: baked green apple, kiwi, and lime with accents of petrol, wet slate, vanilla, and star anise. Medium/lighter body on the bone-dry palate: tart green apple, kiwi, and lemon/lime framed by slate, petrol, vanilla, and a little clove. Aggressive acidity. Lingering petrol and some bitter toothpick on the moderate/long dry finish. Interesting with good complexity, though a bit austere...fruit is starting to fade. Drink up.

March 5, 2011 - Quite dry, paired nicely with ginger/curry chicken!

November 18, 2009 - Lots of petrol on the nose and on the palate. Dry, with green apple, and a creamy texture, probably from the 13% alcohol given almost no RS. If you like heavy doses of petrol in your Riesling, then this is for you. If not, go elsewhere. Great at $8 if it's a style you favor (but a little overbearing for me).

June 9, 2009 - Dry. Notes of petrol. Lots of flavors that aren't fruit. This was interesting, and it's fascinating that Australia's Rieslings are so much the opposite style then most of the other wines they produce. This is almost austure, but it is pretty tasty. I'll probably buy a bottle to stash for a couple years just for kicks.
