July 24, 2019 - Cotes de Bordeaux Trip; 7/23/2019-7/27/2019: Juicy plums and black cherries on the nose, a lot more freshness and tangy vibes than the 2015, with earth and violets. Velvety, structured but round tannins. Red and black cherries, rich but fresh, with complex notes of cocoa, violets, clove and earth. I’m loving that fresh, inviting, balanced 2016 vintage aesthetic in this wine. Crazy entry-level value here.
