October 26, 2022 - This is a very clear, dark purple wine with a rich, dark berry compote fruit element on the nose and palate along with a subtle herbal component. It's quite drinkable, hitting the palate with a medium + body, some warmth and density, but no viscosity, and it shows black pepper. This reminded me of a low intervention Syrah-Grenache blend. Very nice. Elegant and clean.

August 30, 2021 - Popped and poured. Medium garnet color. Nose shows some herbal cough drop, wild flowers, cherry and plum with a bit of funk lurking in the background. Similar flavors on the palate. Medium+ acid, medium tannin and body with a tart fruit profile. Interesting wine but questionable QPR. Definitely better with food than on its own.

October 3, 2020 - Via Viticole: The 2017 as mentioned was juicy ripe vintage. We were able to tame some of the exuberance with larger format barrels that added freshness and showcased the intrinsic earthy elements of the wine. This is a mind-bending Mondeuse that finds a crazy level of ethereal harmony. 2021-2045
