August 15, 2021 - Lovely blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot & Cabernet Franc. It is relatively mature for its age, with the varieties working well with lovely ripe fruits with cassis and graphite, with deft touch French oak influence binding altogether, with soft ripe tannins on a long 'plush' finish. I think it is showing the effects of a wet lead into 2017 and will be a shorter term proposition. I tried the 2018 recently, it was tight as a drum with plenty of tannin, a stark contrast to this wine.
